Putin proposed doubling the allowances under the Zemsky Doctor program

During a direct line on December 14, Vladimir Putin proposed increasing the allowances under the Zemsky Doctor program for doctors to 2 million rubles, and for paramedics to a million.
It is necessary, as in the Far East, to increase the allowances for zemstvo doctors to 2 million rubles, for paramedics — to 1 million rubles. It seems to me that this will be a good incentive. I will definitely talk about this with the government. The budget has been adopted, however, we can think and formulate these decisions for the very near future— said the President of the Russian Federation, answering a question from the Zaporozhye region.
As reported by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Crimea, in order to attract medical workers of the most scarce specialties to state medical organizations of the Republic of Crimea, incl. Within the framework of the “Zemsky Doctor” and “Zemsky Paramedic” programs, 59 doctors, 30 paramedics, 3 midwives and 5 nurses were hired this year.
In Crimea, 5,809 medical workers living and working in rural areas received compensation for utility payments from the republican budget, totaling 44.3 million rubles, and 493 non-resident medical workers from the budget of the Republic of Crimea received compensation for rent, totaling 94. 4 million rubles.
