We remind you that according to the Federal Law of November 8, 2007 No. 259-FZ (as amended on November 21, 2022) «Charter of Road Transport and Urban Surface Electric Transport» (as amended and supplemented, effective from March 1, 2023) d.) during the entire trip, the passenger is obliged to confirm the fact of payment for his travel, transportation of children traveling with him, in cases where his travel or transportation of children is subject to payment, including with the provision of benefits on the carriage charge specified in parts 1 and 2 of article 21 of the said Federal Law, the carriage of baggage, the carriage of hand luggage.
A passenger entitled to free or reduced fares must carry and present during checks a document confirming the right to free or reduced fares, and a document proving the identity of the passenger in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation. If the document confirming the right to free or reduced fare contains a photograph of its owner, the presentation of an identity document in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation is not required.
The passenger can confirm the fact of payment for the fare using a ticket, in case of non-cash payment — through a special device of the controller, which, upon entering the cabin, reads information about all payments made. After applying the card to this device, the screen will display information about the payment or its absence. It is also possible to display messages on mobile devices about debiting fares.
