Today, at 12:40, the Ministry of Emergency Situations received a report of a fire in the village. Komsomolskoye (near Simferopol). A railway tank with fuel caught fire on the tracks.
Fire rescue units were immediately dispatched to the scene of the incident. Upon arrival at the scene, it was determined that one railway tank was on fire. A fire extinguishing operations center will be deployed on site. According to preliminary information, the cause of the fire was a violation of the rules of the technological process— reported the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Crimea.
Preliminarily, one person died, three more received injuries and burns.

In total, 109 people and 28 pieces of equipment were involved from the RSChS to eliminate the consequences of the fire, of which 90 people and 22 pieces of equipment were from the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry.
