Yesterday, at 15:52, the operational console of the Fire Department of the Republic of Crimea received a message about a fire in dry vegetation in the area of the village of Bolshiye Prudy, Kirovsky district. As the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea emphasized, there was a real threat of fire spreading to buildings located nearby.
Firefighters quickly laid hose lines and, using firecrackers and Ermak backpacks, began to extinguish the fire. According to fire officials, the fire was complicated by strong gusty winds. Within 2 hours the fire was localized and extinguished. Thanks to the actions of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, it was possible to avoid further “crossing” of the fire— reported the emergency department.
The area of the next “landscape” fire was 1,500 square meters. meters. There were no casualties.
