After all, the exhibition presents original watercolors and projects by Nikolai Krasnov with his autograph, related to the construction of the Livadia Palace, from the funds of the Yalta Historical and Literary Museum. The museum also provided for the exhibition an album of photographs of the Imperial Family, illustrating the stay of the family of Nicholas II in Crimea in the spring of 1912.
The attention of the guests was attracted by rare documents from the museum’s funds — metric books of Yalta churches: Autskaya Assumption Church for 1885-1889 with a record of the marriage of Nikolai Petrovich Krasnov and Anna Mikhailovna Farbstein and St. John Chrysostom Cathedral for 1883-1889 with a record of the birth of the Krasnovs’ eldest daughter — Olga.

And on October 11, as part of a series of cultural and educational events for the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belgrade, “Russia – Serbia: common cultural heritage,” an exhibition dedicated to memorable dates associated with Nikolai Krasnov will open in Belgrade, where the great architect is buried. A series of events is organized by the Heritage Foundation of Russian Abroad together with the House of Russian Abroad named after Alexander Solzhenitsyn. The emphasis of the program is on stories about outstanding people whose lives and fates were connected with the common cultural heritage of Serbia and Russia. Of course, this is Nikolai Krasnov, who found a second home in the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes (Yugoslavia) in 1922. As a court architect to King Alexander I Karageorgievich, he created designs for palace and church buildings and worked on their decorative design. The exhibition in Belgrade will also feature photographs from the collections of the Yalta Historical and Literary Museum.
