Readiness of schools for the new academic year was checked in Sevastopol

CrimeaPRESS reports:

All educational organizations of the city passed the test. In total, there are 171 educational institutions in Sevastopol, 11 buildings are currently undergoing major repairs.

According to the presidential program in the 28th school, the shooting gallery and the building of workshops are launched on September 1. The 12th school is also opening, there will be a solemn line. Another 6th boarding school is a new building for high school students. All other overhaul facilities — November-December of this year— the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev.

The preparation of educational organizations took place during the summer vacation period in a planned manner. Relevant regulatory documents were issued, six acceptance committees were formed, which, as agreed, included representatives of the territorial divisions of federal executive authorities, local governments and the public.

By the end of this year, it is planned to complete the overhaul of five more educational institutions. After the work is completed, the commission will also come out and inspect the institutions. It’s just that it will not be in August, but at the end of the work. In addition, work on the overhaul of bathrooms is being completed. The educational process will be organized in accordance with the requirements of SanPiN and safety, says i. O. Director of the Department of Education and Science Maxim Krivonos.

The work of all commissions was completed on August 18.

160 educational organizations that were surveyed are ready for the academic year. Activities for the preparation and admission of educational organizations were carried out in accordance with the methodological recommendations— explains Maxim Krivonos.

One of the priority areas of the audit is the issues of ensuring fire safety and anti-terrorist security. All regulatory requirements in the field of fire safety have been met.

In anticipation of the start of the school year from August 25 to 30, we are testing power supply systems. That is, we turn on all the stoves in all the food units at the same time to see how the institution’s energy supply system copes. Previously, we carried out this work, but on the eve of September 1, we are also doing this.— commented the head of the department.

In addition, on the instructions of the Minister of Education of the Russian Federation, on August 30, Sevastopol will take part in an exercise to develop a complex scenario “Actions of employees of educational organizations and security officers during an armed attack on an object of an educational organization and detection of an explosive device placed in a building or on the territory of an educational organization after neutralization «.

This is a new direction for us, training takes place throughout Russia on the 29th and 30th. Sevastopol will take part on the 30th, we have the entire power unit involved: the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Russian Guard, the FSB. These exercises will be organized on the basis of educational organizations for persons responsible for this direction. In September, the same exercises will be held in all schools in the city of Sevastopol, notes I. O. department director.

In total, on September 1, 53,594 students will come to schools, 22,438 pupils to kindergartens, 9,876 students to colleges and technical schools, and 13,125 people to universities. There are 6,105 first-graders this year — this is the data as of today, but the admission will last until September 5th.

In addition, this year, with the support of Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev, additional funds were allocated for the purchase of new textbooks for schools.

This is a new format in terms of the formation of textbooks, it will have the status of a state one, because the rights to this textbook belong only to the state. There are already the changes that we talked about, and the special military operation has been reflected. Textbooks arrived in Sevastopol, we will deliver them to all schools by the 30th— emphasizes Maxim Krivonos.

In addition, children will traditionally receive the Diary of a Sevastopol Schoolchild. Teachers were given recommendations to use the materials that are posted on the pages of the diary as additional materials for class hours and lessons of Sevastopol studies.

This is a very well-established project, Ekaterina Borisovna Altabaeva is in charge of it. I know that there is already a decisive stage of production, and we will issue to students— said Mikhail Razvozhaev.

Traditionally, on September 1, solemn assembly will take place, this year the participation of approximately 14,000 children is planned — these are students of the 1st and 9-11th grades. This number of participants is due to the security measures being taken related to the «yellow» level of terrorist threat in Sevastopol.
