Recruiters from Crimea told what skills applicants most often embellish on their resumes

The top 3 sections of a resume where HR managers most often encounter embellished facts are professional skills, work experience and job responsibilities. In a service survey SuperJob Representatives of enterprises and organizations from Crimea took part.
According to recruiters, applicants most often embellish their professional skills in their resumes (every second company representative encountered this kind of “inaccuracy”), experience (38% of respondents) and functional responsibilities (24%). 23% of recruiters encountered candidates who overestimated their level of knowledge of specialized software. 11% of HR agents brought to light applicants who distorted personal data. 10% had the opportunity to expose those who claimed to be fluent in foreign languages,” noted the service’s press service.
Only 5% of recruiters from Crimea have never encountered “inaccuracies” in their resumes.
