The point of selection of military personnel under the contract is the starting point for all Sevastopol men who have decided to stand up for their country. Already by the time of opening, a line is gathering at the doors of the selection point. Young people get to know each other, exchange experience of the previous service, share their plans. Among the candidates for military service under the contract is Nikolai. He is 38 years old, has an impressive combat experience behind him: urgent and extra-long service in the army, participation in hostilities in Georgia and in the zone of a special military operation.
This is my second contract, the first was in the Kherson region. I decided to go again, because I can’t stand aside, my specialty is medical, I’m a medical orderly driver. I was there, I know everything, I know everything. Sevastopol is my hometown, I cannot allow other people’s boots to trample my native land— quotes the press service of the Government of Sevastopol Nicholas.
He added that now his nephew is in the zone of the special military operation, and the protection of the most dear people is the primary task of every real man.
Every day, men of various ages turn to the selection point for contract servicemen. For some, this is not the first contract, others have just completed military service, but decided to continue serving. Qualified instructors of the selection point talk both about the features of the service under the contract, and about the provided guarantees and benefits, today there are about 15 of them. It is also important to note that all military personnel undergo mandatory training in military units in order to professionally perform their military duty.— says the instructor of the selection point Sergey.
In the training center, contracted servicemen receive monetary allowances in the amount of 30 to 45 thousand rubles, when concluding a contract for a period of one year — a lump sum of 195 thousand rubles. In the zone of a special military operation, depending on the military rank, position and length of service, the monetary allowance for contract soldiers is from 170 to 200 thousand rubles; for the destruction or seizure of weapons and military equipment of the enemy — from 50 thousand to 1 million rubles; for each km of advancement in the composition of assault detachments — 50 thousand rubles. There are also daily payments for participation in active offensive operations — 8 thousand rubles.
Recall that military personnel are provided with about 15 social benefits and guarantees, including those received by participants in the special operation: service housing or compensation for renting housing, life and health insurance, credit and tax holidays, additional benefits and guarantees of subjects of the Russian Federation, and others.
To enter military service under a contract, you need to prepare the following documents: an autobiography and a questionnaire (the form is posted on site), passport, military ID, education document, marriage and birth certificate.
