In Sevastopol, the results of the regional stage of the contest of volunteer practices «Region of Good Deeds» were summed up. The complex application from the city included projects aimed at developing volunteering, as well as improving the quality of life of people and increasing the number of citizens involved in volunteering.
According to the decision of the expert commission, the complex application from the region included:
- patriotic action «Youth landing» of student groups of Sevastopol;
- “Volunteer Mobility Center “Dobro.Expert” of Sevastopol State University;
- Volunteer School «Culture of Kindness» of the Fishermen’s Palace of Culture.
The winners automatically became participants in the All-Russian stage of the «Region of Good Deeds» contest. In case of victory, the projects will receive financial support in the form of a subsidy for their implementation.
The “Region of Good Deeds” competition allows creating conditions for the sustainable development of volunteer initiatives in the subjects of our country, improving the quality of life of people, and also increasing the number of residents involved in volunteering.
The event was organized in order to achieve the indicators of the regional project «Social Activity» of the national project «Education».
