Experts worked to clean the pipelines all night, but the water in the waterworks still remains dirty. Therefore, cleanup work will continue. The city governor, Mikhail Razvozhaev, announced this on his social networks.

Dear residents of Sevastopol! Unfortunately, the water continues to flow very dirty with debris, which did not allow the waterworks to be completely filled overnight. Therefore, during the day it will be necessary to temporarily stop the water supply again. All specialists are working to restore normal supply as quickly as possible. We plan to provide water at approximately 18.00. The time will be announced additionally– the press service quotes the head of Sevastopol.

Water supply to Gagarinsky, Leninsky, Nakhimovsky and Balaklava districts will be carried out today from 9.00 to 12.00.

Most districts and streets of the city receive water on schedule. Some addresses were not affected by the shutdown. However, there are areas where the water did not reach when supplied. The city governor gave instructions to send water tankers to these areas as a priority.

There are streets and certain areas where water, even when supplied according to schedule, did not reach. This happens due to large water intake, the geography of urban water supply centers or the location of houses (in a lowland, or vice versa on a hill). In personal messages to the Government, you sent the following addresses where water does not reach: Matyushenko district (Kyiv, Safronova, Lev Tolstoy); TSUM area (Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya street, Repin street); district of the Rebels (Admiral Oktyabrsky, 14; Batumskaya). Water trucks will be sent as a priority now to these addresses– said Mikhail Razvozhaev.

In addition, the head of the city instructed the Sevastopol branch of the United Russia party to organize the work of volunteers and purchase bottled water so that the water reaches those to whom it did not arrive on schedule or to whom water trucks did not reach.
