Last week, 9 accidents occurred on the roads of Sevastopol, in which people received various injuries, including three minor passengers.

Traffic police officers revealed 431 an administrative offense, including 30 drivers driving a vehicle while intoxicated, 4 of which repeatedly, for which criminal liability is provided, drivers violated the rules for driving a pedestrian crossing, 7 drove into the oncoming lane in violation of traffic rules, 38 pedestrians crossed the carriageway in the wrong place , the State Traffic Inspectorate reported.

In the coming week, traffic inspectors will carry out preventive measures «Bacchus», «Tinting», «Delinquent», «Beacon», «Moto», «Crossroads», «Night City», «Drunken Driver» and «Overtaking».

The State traffic inspectorate of Sevastopol informs about the increased cases of collisions with pedestrians due to their violation of the Rules of the road.

During the 7 months of the current year, 99 traffic accidents were registered on the roads of the city, associated with collisions with pedestrians, in which 6 people died and 63 were injured. Due to the fault of the drivers, there was 30 an accident in which 3 pedestrians died, 63 received various injuries. Due to non-compliance with traffic rules by the pedestrians themselves, 3 people died, 10 were injured. The main violation committed by pedestrians is crossing the carriageway in the wrong place , — noted in the traffic police.

It is clarified that since the beginning of the year 94 pedestrians have been brought to administrative responsibility for this offense, which provides for punishment in the form of a warning or a fine in the amount of 500 rubles.
