It is clear that Asian ports occupy a serious place, but there are countries that are not quite friends with us— Reliuk assesses the situation.

In his opinion, for Crimea now the main thing is that this year, permission was obtained for duty -free removal of the Crimean grain from the ports of the republic and Sevastopol. This will allow you to make increased profit from grain export in traditional areas.

This year we broke this serious moment. The abolition of the fee for export and a certain quota. We got the opportunity to take about 700 thousand tons of grain. Our allies in this struggle were the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Economic Development. We had to find a balance for the republic between major players so that we were interested in working, and we received such a permit— he said.

He recalled that the ports of the Crimea remain sanctions, but at the same time the republic retains traditional exports to a number of countries.

For us until recently, Syria was the largest consumer. Now the situation will be changed, but regardless of politics, people will still need food. Necessarily — Sudan, Libya, Egypt — were and will be— said the minister.

He clarified that we are primarily about the ports of Feodosia and Kerch, which can transport quite serious volumes — about 50%. At the same time, they are shallow -water, so the cereals are first transported to Sevastopol, where there is a deep -sea port and a terminal with very large potential and a daily shipment of up to 20 thousand tons. At the same time, Crimea sells its grain, and the lack of duties is a direct opportunity to earn more.

This is another fundamental solution, because Crimea has been able to sell our grain — we are not transit, but earn certain bonuses to realize our grain. And do not forget that the quality of our grain is beyond praise. Crimea needs only 1 million tons for yourself. Traditionally, we produce one and a half to two times more. That is, this is our export potential and live money— said the head of the Republican Ministry of Agriculture.
