Repair work at the Sevastopol substation will be completed tomorrow
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Energy supply in Sevastopol is being restored. Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev announced this.
Since the substation that was damaged tonight is in the area of responsibility of the federal company Rosseti, this morning I contacted the Minister of Energy Sergei Evgenievich Tsivilev, all the necessary decisions were made. Also involved in restoring the system is the federal company MGTS, which today launched all reserve capacities. This made it possible to almost completely eliminate the electricity shortage and provide urban infrastructure— said the head of the city.
According to the governor, by 20:00 today the power required for the entire residential area will be fully restored.
To save energy, trolleybus service will be suspended this evening and will be replaced by buses. For the same purposes, city lighting will not work today, including the lighting of shopping centersnoted Mikhail Razvozhaev.
As for the city’s water supply, the pumps on the main networks, which stopped early this morning, are now already working. Pressure has been restored almost everywhere, except for dead-end streets or areas that are at high elevations. Nevertheless, even in remote areas the pressure will be restored by a maximum of 18:00.
We plan that by tomorrow morning all repair work at the Sevastopol substation will be completed and power supply will be restored in full. Therefore, tomorrow those schools that have classes on Saturdays will calmly continue teaching. I remind you that Sevastopol residents can contact 112 with any questions.
