The head of the Yalta administration, Yanina Pavlenko, got acquainted with the progress of work on the Vorontsov Baths beach in Alupka.
One of the most popular beaches of Alupka, Vorontsov Baths, is in the active stage of transformation. Inspected the progress of the work. Let me remind you that in the Soviet years it was officially called “City”, and acquired its second “folk” name thanks to the baths of Count Vorontsov, which in pre-revolutionary times were located nearby. And this is where the staircase from the palace to the coast ends“, said the head of the Yalta administration, Yanina Pavlenko, and recalled that in Ukrainian times, summer “huts on chicken legs” appeared over the beach, which completely blocked the passage, after which it was impossible to fill the beach after winter storms.
Yanina Pavlenko added that the main and reliable social partner, SBER, is taking part in rectifying the current situation, thanks to which the “huts” were bought and demolished, and another technical road is being built here for the access of equipment.
The improvement will also affect the adjacent Detsky beach and the territory of the Port Georges fishing cooperative. By the summer swimming season, instead of two small ones there will be 3-4 wide public beach maps. And in the future, Alupka will have its own promenade area,” noted the head of the Yalta administration.
