Repair work on the section of the Evpatoria–Mirny port highway is being completed

In the Republic of Crimea, as part of the implementation of the national project “Safe Quality Roads”, the repair of a section of the public highway of regional importance Evpatoria — Mirny port with a length of about 3.5 km is being completed. The customer is the State Public Institution of the Republic of Crimea “Road Service of the Republic of Crimea”. At the moment, road workers have completely completed the repair and restoration work and have begun applying markings.
It should be noted that in 2023 in the Republic of Crimea, within the framework of the national project “Safe Quality Roads”, 15 highway repair facilities with a total length of about 161 km are envisaged. At the moment, construction and installation work is actively underway at 6 sites. At the same time, construction and installation work was completed at 5 sites, 4 sites with a total length of 53.123 km were put into operation, including two sections of the Tavrida — Dzhankoy — Krasnoperekopsk highway km 123+050 — km 132+606 with a length of 9.556 km and Tavrida — Dzhankoy — Krasnoperekopsk km 132+606 — km 143+916 with a length of 11,310 km. At 3 more sites, contractors have begun preparatory worksays the press service Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Crimea.
Also, 2 facilities with a total length of more than 8 km were put into operation. These are sections of the Azovskoye — Nizhnegorsky, Razdolnoye — Korneevka highways.
Thus, contractors are carrying out the necessary range of repair work on transport networks of regional and intermunicipal importance to replace the road surface, develop adjacent territories and improve the infrastructure in general.
Over the entire period of implementation of the national project “Safe Quality Roads” since 2019, more than 95 sections of regional roads with a length of 801.154 km have been repaired in the Republic of Crimea (which is 13% of the entire highway network).
Since the start of the project, the share of regional roads that are in standard condition has almost doubled. In addition, from 2022, as part of the BCD, artificial structures (bridges and overpasses) will be brought to standard condition.
