At the personal invitation of Metropolitan Tikhon of Simferopol and Crimea, a presentation of the Historical and Archaeological Park «New Chersonesos» was organized for representatives of Crimean tourism enterprises, which will soon begin operating after the construction of new facilities and reconstruction. More than 70 representatives of Crimean tourism enterprises familiarized themselves with the possibilities of a large-scale project, visited the Museums of Christianity, Crimea and Novorossiya, the History of Byzantium and inspected the territory of the park.

In addition, after the excursion, a meeting was held between Metropolitan Tikhon and representatives of the Crimean tourism business, where consultations were held on priority issues of visiting, accommodating tourists, operating the park all year round, and many others. The meeting and excursions were attended by the Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Ganzii.

He expressed confidence that the museum and temple complex will be included in the pilgrimage tour routes of Crimean tour guides.
