Representatives of Sevastopol — finalists of the Accelerator of creative projects «Create.Tavrida»
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The Creative Projects Accelerator “Create.Tavrida” has ended at the Meganom Academy of Creative Industries of the Tavrida Art Cluster (a project from Rosmolodezh). About a hundred young people worked on their own socio-cultural projects for their further implementation in their regions. Five people came from Sevastopol to the program, two of whom were among the ten finalists. Margarita Makarova, a student at Sevastopol State University, presented the idea of creative interaction with foreign students, and Larisa Butorina, an ecotourism specialist, presented a project on environmental education of schoolchildren through the development of an eco-trail.
From August 7 to 12, the Meganom Academy hosted Accelerator of creative projects «Create.Tavrida». Over several days, 98 young people from 33 regions of the country, under the guidance of experienced experts, learned to create their own projects: from packaging an idea to submitting an application for a grant competition. The authors of the projects will be able to take part in the Rosmolodezh.Grants competition and receive funding for their implementation.
2nd year student of Northern State University Margarita Makarova presented the idea of creative interaction with foreign students at the program. The project «Ethnograd» aimed at improving the quality of adaptation of first-year university students.
As part of the project, we will hold a series of face-to-face meetings between new SevSU students — foreigners and Russians. What will we do? Create an «Ethnograd» — a small model of a city with houses at a scale of 1:72, each of which will reflect the features of national cultures of the world. This will help students from other countries to master the Russian language faster and talk about their country, and for first-year Russian students, including future translators, linguists and teachers, it will provide an excellent opportunity to practice learning languages with native speakers. As a result, both an unusual art object and an interethnic community of students will be created, who will become friends and subsequently take part in other projects.— said the author of the idea of “Ethnograd”.
Larisa Butorina came to the Accelerator with a project «Eco-trail in the Baydar Valley». The ecotourism specialist has been organizing clean-up days, student expeditions and educational events in Crimea for several years.
We want to develop a 5 km long ecological trail in the Baydarskaya Valley, near the local landmark — the Kozyrek waterfall, install signs, information stands, and equip an observation deck nearby. Students from the Russian Technological University MIREA and Sevastopol State University will be involved in studying the territory, developing the route and branding the project., — says the finalist of the Creative Projects Accelerator “Create.Tavrida”.
According to Larisa Butorina, the eco-trail will not only become a new tourist route, but will also help to increase environmental awareness among schoolchildren in Sevastopol:
The project will include clean-up days, tree planting, excursions, quests, eco-lessons and master classes on separate waste collection, making bird feeders, studying the biodiversity of local flora and fauna. We are aimed at environmental education of schoolchildren, the formation of an eco-community among the younger generation..

In 2024, the Accelerator was held in 6 cities and was implemented twice at the Meganom Academy of Creative Industries, 424 people took part in the educational programs.
