The technology park, using this communication and the status of a priority project, provides residents with the best conditions for growth without additional risks.
The meeting participants discussed the effectiveness of support measures provided to companies in the IT industry, interaction mechanisms and benefits provided within the Free Economic Zone of Sevastopol.
The result of the meeting was the proposal to create an experimental zone for foreign economic activity in Sevastopol using digital assets for international payments. The initiative is related to the statement of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation on the possible creation of special authorized organizations through which settlements with subjects of foreign economic activity will take place.
Sevastopol has been familiar with sanctions since 2014; modern blockchain technologies are one of the effective tools for replacing the Western financial system. It is necessary, based on the competencies and developments of local IT companies in the field of fintech 2.0, to propose real measures to build a competitive financial infrastructure— quotes serial IT entrepreneur, venture investor, founder of Technopark «IT Crimea» Dmitry Gachko.
Thanks to a combination of infrastructural and economic factors, the city can become a pilot region for implementing an experimental regime and hosting an operating site.
