CrimeaPRESS reports:

Soloists, small groups, ensembles and choirs are invited to participate in the creative project.

In Crimea, the republican competition “Mom’s Song,” dedicated to Mother’s Day, is being held remotely.

The founders of the competition are the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Crimea, the Department of Culture of the Yalta Administration. The organizers are the Folk Art Center of the Republic of Crimea and the Yalta centralized club system.

The goal of the creative project is to foster a sense of reverence and love for mothers, to increase the role of motherhood in the development of spirituality, to involve creative teams and individual performers in holding thematic events dedicated to the holiday,” the organizers said.

Soloists, small groups (duets, trios, quartets), ensembles, and choirs are invited to participate. The competition is held in six age categories. The jury consists of highly qualified specialists in the field of vocal art of the Republic of Crimea.

Based on the results of the competition, laureates in the presented nominations will be determined, taking into account age categories, as well as grand prix winners.

Regulations on the competition and the application form for participation are posted on the official website Center of Folk Art of the Republic of Crimea.

Let us remind you that Mother’s Day in Russia was established in 1998 and is celebrated annually on the last Sunday of November.
