Today, specialists from the Sevastopol Rescue Service held a training session at the Laspi children’s health camp.
Rescuers have prepared four educational stations: the first is a first aid station, the second is dedicated to safety at water bodies, the third is about the rules of behavior in mountainous areas, and the fourth is a fire station. Special equipment was presented at each facility, which is used to extinguish fires and evacuate people from hard-to-reach places.
Conducted a master class for the children on rescuing a drowning man. We understand that a child will not be able to provide first aid in full, but we hope that such training sessions will help children not to get lost in a difficult situation and react quickly— said Sergey Mochkov, deputy head of the search and rescue unit.
In addition, the specialists gave a lecture to the staff of the children’s camp about actions in case of terrorist threats and minimizing their consequences.
