Rescuers of Sevastopol passed a planned certification
Krympress reports:
Employees of the Sevastopol rescue service confirmed the high level of their professional training, having passed the next planned periodic certification. The exercises were carried out in conditions as close as possible to the real ones, and provided for the elimination of the conditional emergency, caused by the emission of an emergency chemically dangerous substance.
As part of the audit, experts worked out the key stages of the rescue operation: they organized an operational search and evacuation of the victim from the chemical infection zone, carried out the localization of the leak source, provided first aid to the victim on the spot and performed comprehensive sanitary treatment — degassing both the victim and personnel. All work was carried out in full equipment — in special protective costumes «Sagittarius», ensuring safety when interacting with chemically hazardous substances,-the press service of the Government of Sevastopol said.
In addition, rescuers demonstrated confident ownership of modern equipment-a hydraulic emergency rescue tool and a benzo tool necessary for work during the elimination of traffic accidents and other emergency situations. Regular certifications and exercises play an important role in ensuring the readiness of the rescue service, allowing you to hone skills, improve actions in extreme situations and guarantee operational response in the event of real threats.
