Residents and entrepreneurs of Sevastopol who suffered from bad weather can submit claims for damage compensation

CrimeaPRESS reports:

Since November 27, a regional emergency has been in force in Sevastopol due to the consequences of the storm. On behalf of Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev, applications for compensation for damage caused by bad weather are being accepted. Deputy Governor Alexander Kulagin and Deputy Director of the Department of Economic Development Alexey Popov told how city residents and entrepreneurs can submit applications.

There is a decree of the Government of Sevastopol, which determines the procedure for prompt compensation for damage to people affected by the emergency. There are two global directions, in connection with which such compensation is paid: the first is the loss of the opportunity to live for a period of more than a day due to a number of circumstances, the second operational direction of compensation is for those people who have lost essential property– the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes Deputy Governor Alexander Kulagin.

The list of essential property, in accordance with the resolution of the Government of the Russian Federation, includes items for storing and preparing food, items of furniture for sleeping, items of means of informing citizens — television or radio, items of water supply and heating.

To receive such compensation, victims can apply in five possible ways:

  • through government services portal (more than 100 such applications have already been accepted);
  • through the MFC;
  • through social security institutions in your area of residence (open from Monday to Thursday from 9:00 to 18:00, all contact details are posted Online Department of Labor and Social Protection of the Population;
  • in the municipal administration;
  • by sending a corresponding application by mail to the Department of Labor and Social Protection.

After receiving applications, within a short period of time, commissions formed by municipalities will go to the addresses, conduct an examination, and draw up reports.

As for damage to houses, the governor set the task of working with the Government of the Russian Federation on the procedure for compensating for such damage. This information will be collected, municipal commissions will collect it for each affected residential building,” emphasized Alexander Kulagin.

As a result of the disaster, entrepreneurs also suffered certain losses, especially those located in the coastal zone.

The first stage now is analysis and assessment of the preliminary amount of damage. To do this, from today on the website of the Government of Sevastopol by the address A special page has been created on which, until 18:00 on December 1, you can submit a notification of the preliminary amount of damage by filling out a damage recording report. Only the director can submit an application from a legal entity. Entrepreneurs and self-employed citizens submit notifications on their own behalf,” notes Deputy Director of the Department of Economic Development Alexey Popov.

The act must describe where the object is located, describe in detail what was damaged or lost, and make a general preliminary calculation of the damage. A template and example of filling are also posted on this page.

The second important point is to make a photographic record, and the more detailed it is, the better in this situation. Photos of the outside and inside of the premises, lost equipment, damaged goods. On the website it will be possible to register through State Services, submit a scan or photo of the act and attach photographic materials. We will be able to understand what damage the business has suffered in order to take the next steps,” emphasized Alexey Popov.

He also noted that the hotline of the “My Business” center operates for questions from entrepreneurs: +7 (8692) 22-92-92.
