Residents of Crimea are invited to take part in the open public competition of projects «Budget for Citizens»

In order to ensure openness and accessibility of information on the management of public finances, as well as to identify and disseminate best practices in the formation of the budget of a public legal entity, the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Crimea announces an open public competition of projects «Budget for Citizens» on the territory of the Republic of Crimea.
Participants of the Contest can be individuals and legal entities, local governments.
The subject of the Competition is the development of projects for the presentation of information on the budget in an understandable and accessible form in the following nominations:
Among individuals under 15 years of age, the Competition is held in the following categories:
- «Budget for Citizens in Contemporary Art Forms»;
- «Best Budget Video»;
- «Information cards on the budget for social networks and instant messengers».
Among individuals over 15 years of age, the Competition is held in the following categories:
- «Budget for Citizens in Contemporary Art Forms»;
- «Best Budget Video»;
- «Information cards on the budget for social networks and instant messengers»;
- «Education budget for citizens»;
- «Science budget for citizens»;
- “The best proposal for changing the budget legislation”;
- Citizens’ Budget in 2030.
Among legal entities, the following nominations are proposed:
- «Modern forms of presentation of the draft regional budget for citizens»;
- «Modern forms of presentation of the draft local budget for citizens»;
- «Education budget for citizens»;
- «Science budget for citizens»;
- «The best educational event on budget topics»;
- «The best information panel (dashboard) on the budget for citizens»;
- «Budget for Citizens in 2030»;
- «Budget for Citizens from the Media».
Competition materials are submitted in two stages:
- First step – submission of an application for participation in the pre-selection and a competitive project for the submission of a budget for citizens (attached with presentations, booklet articles, links to Internet resources, etc.), as well as a separate document (file) containing a description of specific proposals for implementation competitive project and practical application of the results of its implementation;
- second phase – submission of an application, a competitive project, as well as a separate document (file) containing a description of specific proposals for the implementation of the competitive project and the practical application of the results of its implementation, finalized taking into account the comments specified in the address invitation, or by telephone, for participation in the second round Competition.
Start and end dates for submitting an application for participation in the first

Deadline for applications — May 15, 2023.

Deadline for applications — June 19, 2023.
