CrimeaPRESS reports:
Two residents of Feodosia, who produced and sold dangerous alcohol-containing liquid, were put on trial. They were found guilty under paragraph “a” of Part 2 of Art. 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (production, storage for sales purposes, sale of products that do not meet the requirements for the safety of life and health of consumers, committed by a group of persons by prior conspiracy).
Since September 2021, the men have been producing alcohol-containing products, pouring them into pre-purchased containers and storing them in a residential building in the city of Feodosia, and then selling them. The actions of the men were stopped by employees of the internal affairs bodies— reported the Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Crimea.
The court agreed with the position of the prosecutor and sentenced the men to 2 years of suspended imprisonment with probation for a similar period for each. The verdict did not enter into legal force.
