Residents of five cities of Crimea are offered to exchange coins for banknotes

Krympress reports:

Residents of Crimea can exchange the accumulated trifle for banknotes in departments of commercial banks in Simferopol, Yalta, Feodosia, Evpatoria and Kerch. Mint is held throughout the country from April 7 to 19.

In the region, sections of nine banks joined the action, whose offices are at fifteen addresses.

In order to hand over a trifle, you need to take a passport with you and fill out an application with a bank. Coins can be exchanged for paper bills or credited to your bank account. In the first case, the client of the bank in which the exchange is made is not necessary. There are no restrictions on the amount.

Coins accumulated houses are not just a “trifle”, but part of the country’s cash turnover. The return of coins to circulation helps to reduce the cost of their minting— explains the head of the Bank of Russia branch in the Republic of Crimea Igor Tsvetkov. — Banks will accept any coins issued since 1997, even damaged or darkened.
