Residents of Sevastopol can compete for victory in the All -Russian contest «Best Municipal Practice»

Krympress reports:

The All -Russian contest “Best Municipal Practice” covers a variety of spheres — from urban planning and modernization of housing and communal services to the development of small businesses, social projects, transport infrastructure and digitalization. Experts select the most effective practices, which then become a landmark for other regions, raising standards in the construction and infrastructure management. Competition applications from municipalities are accepted before August 1.

As the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin noted, the contest “Best Municipal Practice” is an important platform for identifying and encouraging the best practices of municipal management since 2017.

In five nominations — “Urban Politics and Development of Housing and Public Utilities”, “Management of Territories”, “Brand of Territories”, “Smart City”, “Strengthening the Interethnic World and Consent” — we select projects that change the lives of territories for the better. In 2025, a prize fund of 1 billion rubles will scale these initiatives. This is an opportunity for all municipalities of the country to adopt successful experience and implement it in their territories. I am sure that the participants of this year will again show how local tasks are effectively solved, cooperation is strengthened and the economy of territories is developing. So, at present there is an acceptance of applications from the regions to participate in the competition— said Marat Khusnullin.

The competition consists of two stages. First, applications from municipalities are checked and selected in the region. Then the best projects are evaluated by the federal commission, which determines the winners. Participants are divided into two categories: urban districts and settlements, as well as rural settlements. In each of the five nominations, ten prizes will be awarded. Winners will receive not only recognition at the federal level, but also the opportunity to implement their decisions in other regions of the country.
