Residents of st. Decembrists in Sevastopol got the opportunity to connect their homes to the central sewerage system

The company «SoyuzDonStroy» has completed the first stage of work on equipping the city of Sevastopol with sewer networks. The laying of a gravity street network of domestic sewage was almost 1000 meters. The work is carried out within the framework of the federal target program «Socio-economic development of the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol up to 2025 year».

For construction and installation works on the street. Decembrists, a state contract was concluded between the Unified Directorate of Capital Construction of Sevastopol and SoyuzDonStroy LLC. Construction work included the laying of networks in the rocky soil. Thanks to modern equipment, difficult conditions did not affect the timing of the work. A sewer collector 985 meters long was laid with the installation of 68 emergency wells and cases from steel pipe to provide connection to domestic sewerage 41 of a private house. At the end of the work on the site, the roadbed and curbs were completely restored. The design solution of the ground part of the site was focused on eliminating the problem of flooding of nearby houses. Taking into account the slope in the improvement project and installing drainage trays made it possible to exclude the accumulation of water in this area. Thus, two tasks were solved at once — a household collector was built and street drains were diverted from houses , the company’s press service notes.

Thanks to the one-kilometer section of the modern sewerage network put into operation, residents were able to connect their private houses to the central sewerage system. Previously, there was no central sewerage in this area, and effluents were directed to cesspools, which adversely affected the state of the environment. Today, to connect, the owners only need to contact the GUPS «Vodokanal» for technical specifications.
