The #GivingTuesday charity event will take place in Russia for the eighth time.” The annual #GivingTuesday event, held with the support of the Russian Ministry of Economic Development, is timed to coincide with World Charity Day and is designed to give new impetus to the development of a culture of voluntary donations, involving more and more people and institutions in this activity.
Any non-political organizations and individuals can take part in the initiative by choosing a convenient and feasible format for themselves, as well as the purpose and procedure for raising funds. The charity campaign helps to attract additional attention to social activities, helps to intensify volunteerism among employees and find new partners in volunteer activities,” noted the press service of the Yalta administration.
#GivingTuesday has been taking place in Russia since 2016, and during this time about 4.5 thousand organizations from different parts of Russia have joined this movement. This format allows you to almost double donations to a good cause.
