The Department of Social Policy of the Administration provides support to more than 200 Yalta residents within the framework of state and republican programs. According to the head of the city administration, Yanina Pavlenko, this year 186 Yalta residents received rehabilitation funds worth almost 2 million rubles.
Among them are 27 visually impaired residents of the city, who were given special “talking” electronic and tactile mechanical watches to help them with everyday life. 119 children were provided with winter and demi-season orthopedic shoes and insoles, as well as other categories, — the press service quotes Yanina Pavlenko.
