In the Federal Tax Service of Russia for the city of Sevastopol, a meeting of the extended board was held, at which the head of the Department, Alexei Mogila, summed up the work for 4 months of the current year and determined the main tasks of the team until the end of the year. Opening the meeting, the Head of the Department noted that the dynamics of tax revenues indicates a positive development of the region’s economy.
On the territory of Sevastopol for 4 months of this year, 2.9 billion rubles were mobilized to the Federal budget, which is 25% higher than the level of revenues for the same period last year. Revenues to the budget of Sevastopol increased by 20% and amounted to 7.4 billion rubles. The amount of tax revenues increased by 1.2 billion compared to the same period last year. In the structure of regional revenues, the largest share — 42% — was the tax on personal income. Revenues from taxpayers applying the simplified taxation system increased by 19%. The increase in income is provided by business entities engaged in retail and wholesale trade, construction and the provision of real estate for rent. The highest growth rate of revenues among the region’s revenues is accounted for by corporate income tax — 39%, which is due to an increase in revenues from payers of banking and utilities, repair and installation of equipment— noted in the press service of the Federal Tax Service of Russia in Sevastopol.
Aleksey Mogila set tasks for the Department’s employees to be solved before the end of this year, including ensuring the dynamics of revenues in accordance with economic indicators, providing public services at a high professional level, ensuring the reduction of the total tax debt, as well as suppressing tax evasion schemes, including through the exclusion of unreasonably claimed losses and the legalization of shadow wages.
The Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the city of Sevastopol Vladimir Nemtsev took part in the meeting of the Board, who noted the well-coordinated work of the department and thanked the staff of the Office for effective joint work in the framework of legislative activities.
Vladimir Nemtsev emphasized that not only the filling of the budget, but also the implementation of social tasks, economic infrastructure projects, as well as the provision of support measures for participants in a special military operation and their families depend on the successful work of the tax service in the region.
