Rewards have found heroes. Crimean rescuers were awarded medals “For Courage” and “For Courage in a Fire”

Today, November 17, the head of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, Alexander Kurenkov, presented state awards to the personnel of the emergency department units. Employees were recognized for their effective work in rescue operations, providing assistance to the population during emergencies and saving people, including in the Northern Military District zone, as well as in Turkey and Syria. High awards were received by 28 employees of the department, among them Crimean rescuers — two employees of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Crimea.
The medal “For Courage” was awarded to Stanislav Saidov, head of the pyrotechnic group of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Crimea.
The medal “For Courage in a Fire” was awarded to Igor Legky, the commander of the fire and rescue unit of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Crimea.
You acted decisively and professionally when providing assistance to the population in the zone of a special military operation, when extinguishing fires and eliminating emergency situations in Russia and abroad. Your attitude to work, desire for improvement, and readiness for difficulties make you indispensable in our service. By decree of President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, your service and personal qualities were recognized with state awards.
