Since August 22, 2023, after the increase in deposit rates at the RNCB, the bank’s customers have made about 15,000 deposits for a total of 13.1 billion rubles. For comparison, before the increase in rates, customers made about 600 deposits daily. The average check of deposits issued in the bank during these days amounted to 885 thousand rubles.
During these seven days, the “I Help the Defenders of the Motherland” deposit is the most popular with customers — it was used by about 6,500 customers who placed more than 5.1 billion rubles within this deposit.
Recall that on August 22, following the increase in the key rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, the RNCB increased the yield on deposits:
- “I help the defenders of the Motherland” — up to 11%;
- «Maximum» — up to 9.3%;
- «Profitable pension» — up to 8.9%;
- «Profitable» — up to 8.7%;
- «Managed» — up to 8.5%;
- «Nakopi» — up to 8%.
All deposits in RNKB Bank, which is part of the VTB Group, can be opened independently without visiting the office using the RNKB 24/7 mobile application. About 50% of the total number of deposits opened during the week were processed by clients remotely through a mobile application and Internet banking.
