Road accident in Alushta: an unattended GAZelle rolled and hit a child

The police are conducting an investigation into an accident in Alushta involving a minor. As the State Traffic Inspectorate clarified, the collision with the child occurred this afternoon, at 16:00 on Tavricheskaya Street.
The driver of the vehicle GAZ 2705-434 parked the vehicle, left the car and did not take the necessary measures to prevent the vehicle from moving spontaneously. As a result, the vehicle began to move spontaneously and ended up on the sidewalk, where it collided with a minor pedestrian born in 2012, who, as a result of the accident, was hospitalized in the Alushta central city hospital— reported the traffic police.

The Crimean Prosecutor’s Office is monitoring the progress of the investigation into the circumstances of the traffic accident in Alushta.
According to preliminary data, today, February 9, 2024, a GAZ 2707-434 car parked on Tavricheskaya Street drove into the pedestrian zone on Lenin Street, hitting a boy born in 2012. The driver was not in the car at the time of the accident. As a result of the incident, a minor was hospitalized with injuries in a healthcare facility— reported the supervisory agency.
The progress and results of the inspection were taken under the control of the prosecutor’s office of the Republic of Crimea.
