Police are establishing the circumstances of a morning accident with a truck in Balaklava. According to the traffic police, a collision with a pedestrian occurred today at 11:10 on the street. Novikova.
April 12, at 11-10 near house 40 on the street. Novikova, a 65-year-old driver of a KamAZ truck with a trailer at an uncontrolled pedestrian crossing hit a 76-year-old female pedestrian who was crossing the roadway from right to left in the direction of the truck.
As a result of the accident, the pedestrian was injured and taken to a healthcare facility for medical care. The driver showed no signs of intoxication— reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Sevastopol.
Employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate are conducting an investigation into the traffic accident.
