Employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate removed from control a drunk moped driver who caused an accident in Dzhankoy.
According to preliminary data, on May 19, around 21:00 in Dzhankoy, on the street. Kutuzova near 197, the driver of the “Regul moto” moped, born in 1991, did not choose a safe speed, as a result of which he hit an obstacle (curb) with the subsequent overturning of the vehicle. As a result of the incident, the driver’s minor daughter, who was on the front of the moped, was injured. The investigation department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia “Dzhankoisky” opened a criminal case against the driver under Part 2 of Art. 264.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, for driving a vehicle by a person who is intoxicated and has a criminal record for committing a crime under Art. 264.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. In addition, the driver was brought to administrative responsibility under Part 1 of Art. 12.23 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation, for violating the rules for transporting people.
In relation to the father of the victim, employees of the department for minors drew up administrative protocols under Art. 5.35 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation “Failure of parents to fulfill their duties in raising minor children”, which in accordance with the established procedure are submitted for consideration to the municipal administrative commission.
