The police are conducting an investigation into an accident in Sevastopol in which a minor was injured. As the traffic police clarified, the accident happened the day before (at 16:30) on October Revolution Avenue.
A 43-year-old driver of a Toyota car in the area of house No. 48 on Oktyabrskaya Revolyutsii Avenue, at a controlled intersection, passed a prohibitory traffic light without giving priority in traffic, and collided with a Hyundai car driven by a 38-year-old driver. As a result of the accident, a 6-year-old passenger of the Hyundai car was injured and was taken to the city hospital— reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Sevastopol.
State Traffic Inspectorate officers immediately arrived at the scene of the incident. During the check, no signs of intoxication were found among the drivers. An investigation is currently underway into the accident in which the child was injured.
