The Sevastopol police are conducting an investigation into an accident involving a minor driver of an electric scooter. The accident occurred on Stoletovsky Prospekt this afternoon (at 14:08).
A 32-year-old driver of a Volkswagen van in the area of house No. 17 on Stoletovsky Prospekt hit a 16-year-old teenager who drove into an unregulated pedestrian crossing on an electric scooter, from right to left in the direction of travel of the car. As a result of the accident, the minor driver of the personal mobility device was injured and was taken to a medical facility— reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Sevastopol.
The State Traffic Inspectorate is conducting an investigation into the fact of the traffic accident.
