Road accident in Sevastopol: six injured, including two children

The police are investigating an accident in Sevastopol, in which six people were injured, including two children. According to the city Department of Internal Affairs, the accident occurred on Sunday, at 16:55, on the 58th km of the Simferopol — Bakhchisaray — Sevastopol highway, at the turn to the North side.
A 34-year-old KIA driver, moving from Inkerman towards Bogdanova Street, when turning left, did not give way to a Volkswagen driven by a 23-year-old driver, who was moving in the opposite direction, and collided with him. After the impact, the Volkswagen continued driving and collided with a Lada driven by a 32-year-old driver. Then the foreign car left the roadway and overturned. As a result of the accident, the Volkswagen driver, as well as the KIA driver and his four passengers, two of whom were children aged 10 and 13, were injured. All victims were taken to medical facilities— reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Sevastopol.
Employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate and a police investigative team worked at the scene of the accident. An investigation into the accident involving victims is underway.
