The police are conducting an investigation into an accident in Sevastopol in which a person was injured. As the traffic police clarified, the accident occurred this afternoon (at 17:40) on Fiolentovskoye Highway.
A 23-year-old driver of a VAZ car, moving from Monastyrskoye Highway towards Kamyshovoy Highway, when turning left, did not give way to a FIAT car driven by a 25-year-old driver, who was moving in the opposite direction, and collided with it. After the impact, the FIAT car drove off the roadway, where it overturned. As a result of the accident, a 25-year-old driver of a FIAT car was injured. The victim was promptly transported to medical facilities— reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Sevastopol.
State Traffic Inspectorate employees worked at the scene of the road accident. An investigation into the accident involving the victim is underway.
