Road accident in Simferopol region: an inattentive lady hit a child on a zebra crossing

The police are investigating the circumstances of an accident in the Simferopol region involving a minor pedestrian.

On November 16, at 7:50, the driver of a Škoda Octavia, born in 1985, moving to the village of Gvardeyskoye along the street. Oktyabrskaya in the direction of st. Biryukova, hit a minor girl, born in 2009, who was crossing the road at an unregulated pedestrian crossing. As a result of the accident, a 14-year-old teenager was injured and taken to a medical facility— reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea.

Employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Simferopol region worked at the scene of the accident. An investigation is being carried out and the circumstances of the incident are being clarified.
