Road accident in the Saki region of Crimea: a woman and a two-year-old child were injured

The police and prosecutor’s office are investigating the circumstances of the accident in the Saki region of Crimea. Preliminarily, the cause of the accident, in which a woman and a small child were injured, was the driver’s error — the injured lady.

At about 14:15, on the 2 km of the Saki-Orlovka highway, a citizen, born in 1991, driving a Daewoo Nexia car, moving from the village of Ivanovka towards the city of Saki, for unknown reasons, lost control and allowed her to leave the roadway to the left in the direction of travel followed by overturning. As a result of a traffic accident, the driver and a minor passenger, born in 2022, received bodily injuries— reported the traffic police.

The mother and baby were hospitalized at the Saki district hospital.

Currently, verification activities are being carried out to establish the circumstances of the incident.,” the Crimean prosecutor’s office clarified.
