Road accident, inspection, criminal case: accident involving the Saki — Simferopol regular bus

Simferopol police officers are conducting an investigation into an accident involving the Saki-Simferopol regular bus. The accident occurred the day before (at 16:30) near the village of Komsomolskoye, at the entrance to the Crimean capital.
The 28-year-old driver of a regular bus traveling along the Simferopol-Saki route did not choose a safe distance from the Iveco truck in front, resulting in a collision— reported the traffic police.
According to the prosecutor’s office, which took control of the police investigation, there were 24 passengers on the bus. 6 people were injured.
Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Bastrykin ordered to initiate a criminal case into an accident involving a bus in the Republic of Crimea and submit a report on the established circumstances.
