Road accident on the Simferopol – Alushta highway: a truck crashed into a pole, overturned and burned

Yesterday morning, at 6:17, the rescue service received information that on the Simferopol — Alushta highway, in the area of ​​the village. Perevalny’s car is on fire.

Upon arrival, it turned out that the driver of a Volvo truck, having driven off the roadway, collided with an electrical pole, as a result of which the vehicle overturned and subsequently caught fire. Firefighters, having carried out a combat deployment, extinguished the fire on an area of ​​10 square meters. meters. Firefighters also carried out all the necessary fire safety measures at the scene of the incident, including flushing fuel and lubricants from the roadway— reported the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea.

The truck driver survived. Law enforcement officers are investigating the causes of the accident.
