The police are establishing the circumstances of the accident on the Simferopol-Evpatoria highway, in which 6 people were injured. According to the traffic police, an accident involving a regular bus occurred in the Saki district the day before, at 15:05.
Driver of the regular bus «Neman», born in 1970, moving along the highway «Simferopol — Evpatoria» in the direction of Evpatoria, near the village. Chebotarka, at an unregulated pedestrian crossing, hit a 62-year-old resident of the city of Saki, who was crossing the roadway from right to left as the bus moved. After which the bus drove into the oncoming lane, where it collided with an Opel Vivara car, driven by a 49-year-old resident of the Chernomorsky district, moving in the opposite direction— said the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea.
As a result of the accident, 6 people were injured, one of whom was a minor. The circumstances of the incident are being established.
The prosecutor’s office took control of the investigation. The supervisory agency clarified that as a result of the accident, one person (a pedestrian who was hit) was hospitalized. The remaining victims received the necessary medical care on the spot.
During the organized supervisory activities, all the circumstances of the incident will be established, the actions of the carrier will be assessed, as well as the requirements of the legislation on road safetynoted the prosecutor’s office.
