Road builders of Tavrida have begun work on a new highway in Crimea — a bypass bypassing Alushta

The cost of the new four-lane highway is 22.4 billion rubles.
The head of the Republic of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, announced that work is underway to build a bypass road bypassing the city of Alushta, which will pass through the village of Izobilnoye with an exit outside the city limits. The work is being carried out by the contractor JSC VAD (the company that built the Tavrida highway).
As Aksyonov clarified, due to the terrain, it is planned to construct retaining retaining walls, as well as the construction of 2 transport interchanges at different levels and 9 artificial structures: a bridge over the Ulu-Uluzen River, 2 overpasses, a viaduct more than 178 meters long and 5 tunnel-type overpasses .
The 7.8-kilometer road will be four-lane. The cost of construction of the facility is more than 22.4 billion rubles, the completion date is the end of November 2026,” the Head of Crimea clarified.
According to him, the preparatory stage is currently ongoing, which includes, among other things, the organization of traffic during the work, the preparation of construction sites, and the reconstruction of communication networks.
The head of Crimea assured that the construction of the bypass road will not cause damage to the ecology of the Republic.
