In Crimea, employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate are carrying out a preventive measure on passenger and cargo transport “Carrier — Winter 2023”. The purpose of the operation is to reduce accidents in passenger transport, ensure road safety and the operation of buses and freight vehicles. Checks on roads and in motor transport enterprises are carried out from November 20 to 23.

During the period of these activities, traffic police officers will pay special attention to inspections of freight and passenger transport carrying out interregional and intercity transportation, both at the places of boarding and disembarking passengers, and along routes.noted the traffic police.

Particular attention will be paid to the readiness of vehicles for operation in winter, the technical condition and equipment of buses, changes to the design of the vehicle without approval from the traffic police, and timely completion of technical inspection. Attention will also be paid to the availability of appropriate permits and registration documents, including waybills with marks on passing a pre-trip medical examination and checking the technical condition of buses.

If violations and shortcomings are identified, road carriers will be held administratively liable, followed by a mandatory submission to eliminate the causes and conditions that contributed to the commission of the administrative offense.,” the traffic police clarified.
