Road every minute! In the Simferopol region, employees of the Russian Emergencies Ministry rescued a man from a fire

CrimeaPRESS reports:

An alarm call about a fire in a private house in the village of Mirnoye (in the Simferopol region) was received via the 101 line tonight, at 1:20. Alarmed citizens reported seeing thick smoke from a nearby house. There is a 70-year-old man with limited mobility in the building and he will not be able to get out on his own.

Two departments of the 1st Fire and Rescue Unit were immediately sent to the scene. However, at the entrance to the specified street, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia were faced with the fact that the passage was very narrow and randomly parked cars of citizens interfered with the passage of special vehicles. In addition, the crowns of the trees were not cut, long branches prevented the movement of equipment along a narrow street.

While firefighters were wasting valuable time making their way through obstacles, caring neighbors tried to put out the fire on their own, carrying buckets of water. Arriving at the scene, firefighters quickly carried out a combat deployment and after 4 minutes localized the fire on an area of 20 square meters. It took them just over 30 minutes to completely eliminate the outbreak. This time, tragedy was averted. Specialists as part of the GDZS unit carried the injured man to fresh air and handed him over to the ambulance staff— said in the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Crimea.

The cause of the fire is careless handling of fire when smoking (mattress fire).
