Pothole repairs have begun on city streets in the Crimean capital. This was reported by the head of the city’s road management department, Anatoly Taranenko.
Currently, work is being carried out in the village of Gresovsky on Bolshevik Popov Street, where the milling of roadway sections is being carried out and the restoration of the worn-out top layer of the road surface to a depth of 5 to 7 centimeters.
These works have been carried out as part of the maintenance since the beginning of the current year. Only the type of work changes: in January, February and March we were engaged in eliminating the deformation of the road surface, that is, pothole repair, — the press service of the Simferopol administration quotes Anatoly Taranenko.
He also added that with the onset of favorable weather conditions, planned maintenance work on street and road networks will begin.
In addition, repair work is also being carried out on Nosenko Street, Dalniy Lane and the Central Dead End.
