In Simferopol, roads are repaired in different ways: by pothole repair or as part of the planned restoration of the upper worn layers of the road surface. This was reported by the head of the road management department of the city administration of Simferopol, Anatoly Taranenko. Since the beginning of this year, repairs to the road surface have been carried out on 187 roads in the Crimean capital at the expense of municipal and republican budgets.
The total area of renewed road surfaces is more than 140 thousand square meters. The work is carried out depending on the condition of the roads: to eliminate small holes, the jet-injection method was used, to repair holes up to 5 and 7 centimeters deep, pothole repair was used, and in the case of wear of the upper layer, a complete restoration of the lower layers is carried out with milling and laying new asphalt concrete to a depth of up to 5 centimeters.— the press service of the Simferopol administration quotes Anatoly Taranenko.
