Robbers detained in Sudak

The Department of Internal Affairs of Russia in the city of Sudak received a message from a 26-year-old local resident about a robbery committed against her relatives in their apartment. According to the applicant, an unknown man attacked her 67-year-old uncle and 68-year-old aunt, using violence that threatened their life and health, and then stole their mobile phones, bank cards and money. The amount of damage amounted to 30 thousand rubles.
Employees of the criminal investigation department of the Russian Department of Internal Affairs for the city of Sudak carried out a set of operational search activities, as a result of which the identity of the suspect was established in the shortest possible time. He turned out to be a 46-year-old local resident who had been previously convicted several times. Hot on the heels of operatives in cooperation with traffic police officers of the State Traffic Inspectorate of Sudak, the man was detained and taken to the police department for further proceedings, where he admitted his guilt. Thanks to the coordinated actions of the police officers, the attacker did not have time to sell the stolen goods. The investigative department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Sudak opened a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under Part 3 of Art. 162 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Robbery). The sanction of the article provides for a maximum penalty of imprisonment for a term of up to twelve years.
The suspect was detained in accordance with Art. 91 Code of Criminal Procedure of the Russian Federation.
